Founder & Visionary Leader
Artisanal Palm Oil Millers and Out Growers Association Ghana (APOMOG)
Paul Kwabena Amaning is the visionary founder and driving force behind the establishment of the Artisanal Palm Oil Millers and Out Growers Association Ghana (APOMOG). With a strategic understanding of Ghana's agricultural landscape and a deep commitment to rural economic empowerment, he conceptualized APOMOG as a transformative platform to formalize, strengthen, and modernize the artisanal palm oil sector. At a time when smallholder farmers and artisanal millers operated in fragmented structures with limited institutional representation, Mr. Amaning recognized the urgent need for a unified body to advocate for policy inclusion, improved financing access, sustainable production practices, and market competitiveness.
Under his vision, APOMOG has evolved into a credible stakeholder within Ghana's oil palm value chain, working to ensure that artisanal producers are not left behind in national agricultural transformation efforts. Mr. Amaning remains committed to driving inclusive growth, institutional collaboration, and long-term sustainability within Ghana's palm oil industry.
Using modern technology to connect farmers and associations with the market through nationwide palm oil delivery.
OPDA membership consists of all palm oil value chain stakeholders e.g. producer groups, traders, grain processors, agribusinesses, etc.
